Hartman & Winnicki, P.C. has offices in Paramus, New Jersey, and New York City.  The firm handles a wide variety of legal matters, and has attorneys who are licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, Florida, Washington D. C. and West Virginia.  The Firm's strength is in the diversity of its practice. The firm services the New Jersey - New York Metropolitan Area and has deep roots in the Bergen, Essex, Morris and Pasaic County Communities.  In addition, many of the firm's attorneys have practiced with large New Jersey and Wall Street law firms.

In 2000 we formed an Internet and Intellectual Property Law Practice Group  that now includes a focus on emerging areas of Digital Discovery and Electronic Evidence in litigation and also provides pro-active consulting for our business clients in electronic document retention matters. In 2004 we had a member of the firm return from a leave of absence while serving as a Legislator in the New Jersey State Assembly and have added a Government Relations practice area, keeping ahead of changes in statutes and regulations for our New Jersey clients.

Areas of concentration include Banking Law, Corporate Law, ERISA, Tax and Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, formation and operation of Foundations and Charities, Civil and Commercial Litigation, Trust and Estate Litigation, Commercial and Residential Real Estate transactions, and Land Use and Zoning applications and appeals. We represent  “dot com” and traditional companies from Internet startup businesses to well established industrial and retail companies.  The firm's clientele is broad-based and includes major foundations and trusts,  real estate developers, real property managers and brokers, savings and commercial banks as well as many active individual entrepreneurs and smaller business organizations.  Our Attorneys have represented software publishers and developers, on-line financial service providers for banks and credit card holders, Web based market integration businesses, Web service bureaus, health care providers,  advertising agencies, insurance agencies, Web site developers, trade associations, e-magazine publishers, national armored car service, regional paper distributors and engravers, franchisees, and on-line real estate brokers.
